I love Reaktor. The only downside with it is you can spend more time messing around building ensembles than you do actually using and playing them!
I’m a reaktor hacker/cludger at best… working at macro level to get close to what I want (Core still confuses the hell out of me 😉 ).
All my Reaktor devices can be downloaded for free at the NI user library here.
Ensembles:
Tape Mate: Crap Cassette Emulator
My attempt at creating a tape emulator that sounds the total opposite of a pristine, calibrated studio tape machine.
The ensemble was also featured on the Native Instruments blog: https://blog.native-instruments.com/7-of-the-best-tape-and-lo-fi-effects-ensembles/

Guillotine: Saturation Station
A useful distortion unit using some of Reaktor’s built in (and very tasty) saturation algorithms. The bias control is super fun.

Patina: Tape Echo with Primetime Style Hold+Multiply.
An echo fx unit where I tried to make a Soundtoy’s EchoBoy and PrimalTap inspired combo (they are my favorite delay plugins).
Through a bit of tweaking I was also able to get pretty close to the sound of some of my favorite BBD delay stomp boxes.
The tonal characteristics of eq, saturation, compression, modulation etc. on the delay line, in combination with the Prime Time style hold and sample rate multiply controls, can provide some really cool results… a tasty mashup of crusty old 80’s BBD and Digital delay units!
